Can the gauge on the inno be swapped out.....if not the face, the working bit.......and replace the tank and sender with the more common type.

Google or call him for the address, send it in and he'll look at it and give you a quote.....then it's up to you but since I couldn't find one either it was a good decision on mine.

Thank you both for the information, it apperas that even if pricy there is some hope.
My unit looks worse that the photo, the fuel pick-up tube is broken.

Hey MkII, I used an outfit called Tristar, the fellas name is Dan Ohora, he did a spectacular if somewhat spendy job. The thing came back looking new and works perfectly...even the little low fuel light works. You cannot use an English Mini Smiths sender, it's not compatible with your Jaeger gauge.

You can reach Dan at 315-712-0071

Good luck!

Dave

Paging Minidave!

He has been highly involved in a Inno Resto.

See pics of what he started with, and he sent his sender to someone for refurbishment.

  Noted 200$ for the service.

Whats your contact info and i can send you his Email directly.

Hello,
I have a "1969 INNOCENTI 998 MKll Cooper"  with a very bad  six-screw  fuel pick-up/sending unit.
I vave looked at parts suppliers, ebay (including Italy), and google search without any luck - can't even find a diagram or photo
of said unit.  It appears that most UK minis stopped using the six-screw set up in 1964 - sending only? So probably there are no replacements of any kind or anything that resembles as a possible adaptation.
Anyone out there that may be familiar with the Innocenti Minis  have any suggestions/comments?
Thanks,
Fred
