Thank you Ken!  They did that when I took it in for it's last check up, I'm almost due again so I guess I'll ask them to do it again.

It 'sounds like' it may be worth visiting the MINI dealer to have them reload the Carplay software - I have seen reports of electrical strangeness that is 'sometimes' caused by corrupted software in the system.....   

I am hoping your MINI is still under warranty?

Well, I’m sorry you feel that way.  I used to feel the same way, but all that did was prolong me learning how mini is still in game.  They’re built well, handle well, and as stylish as ever.  Take care Sir...

If your Countryman doesn't look something like the attached, its not a Mini.
